The Historical Society of Neuville asked me to create the cover page for a book they will publish shortly on the Filles du Roy. The perfect project for a designer such as myself that included a photoshoot, illustration and photomontage.

The management team decided to launch the site during the association's annual general assembly. The new clean airy corporate image was a hit and greatly appreciated by all.

Last autumn I worked on the illustrations for a second book by Marcel Thouin that provides a large number of simple scientific experiments that children can do, either at school or at home. The book is called Relever des défis scientifiques et technologiques and is published by Les Éditions Multimondes. For age 8 and up.

This summer I had the chance to work with Les Éditions Multimondes, a Québec City publisher, to illustrate a children's science book by Marcel Thouin called, Éveiller les enfants aux sciences et aux technologies. The book is for children from 3 to 7 years of age and is available in book stores around the province.
In 2008 I worked with François Girard of IRIS DESIGN to create a web site for the Association québécoise de la production de l'énergie renouvelable (AQPER). The site seems to be appreciated by the association's members as well as by the public at large. The stats show the site is generating quite a lot of traffic.
Summer is often a quiet period for me, but what with the economic crisis, this summer was quieter than usual. But I've been working a lot harder than usual all the same. Loïc Le Sellin, the owner of the boat yard Passion Marine, here in Neuville, had too much work and I was able to participate in the building of a small sailboat for one of his clients. We worked very hard, sometimes weekends and evenings too, but it was worth it. A beautiful result.
Of course, we had to test the boat before letting the client tow it away, and what a lovely afternoon we had on the river.
